I would like to get a motorcycle helmet camera to shoot some speed and scenery videos to post on You Tube. How can I shoot good videos with a motorcycle helmet camera? Does your riding posture affect the picture?
As long as you have a high quality camera that is meant for video shot while on the move you should be ok. Just make sure that you don't restrict the cameras view once it is placed on your helmet. Your posture will only affect your video if the camera is aimed towards the ground. It may take some playing around with camera placement before you find the exact angle you are wanting.
I drive a motorcycle, and am frequently not treated very well on the road by other drivers. I'm thinking about buying a motorcycle helmet camera. What kind of price should I expect? I don't need anything fancy.
A motorcycle helmet camera cost anywhere from $65 for a big, clunky camera to $326 for a sleek digital camera. A mid-range price is a $138. This is a nice size camera that is equipped with a 4+ hours of record time.
