I want new car tires and rims on the front of my car, but wasn't planning on putting new ones in the back. Do I have to do both the front and back at the same time or could I do the back car tires and rims in a few months?
Technically, you COULD do it that way if you wanted. Just make sure there's not too much of a diameter/width difference between the new fronts and the old rears; that may cause some handling issues.
I live in Deltona, FL and need to have cheap tires for my car as I can't afford new ones. Can you tell me the name of a tire company in the city so I can go there?
There are some reliable stores in Deltona, FL that have great rates. One to recommend is Demetrich Tires. You can find them at (386) 789-8479 - 2838 Howland Blvd, Deltona
I am entering a car race and would like to win if possible as the prize money is huge. In addition to buying new tires I would like to buy nitrogen to make my car go faster. Can you tell me if it is legal to buy nitrogen or do I need a permit to do so?
Yes it is legal to buy nitrogen and the tanks for use. People use nitrogen for other reasons then just to make cars go faster. They can be used in beverage machines, and for tires in your vehicle.
I am looking to put a new set of rim and tires on my car. Will a cheap rim and tire damage my car? Would it cause me to have issues with my car later in life?
Some cheap tires can cause long term problems with your car. It all depends on the quality of the tires. Make sure whatever cheap tires you buy are similar to the ones already on your car to avoid potential problems.
One of my tires was destroyed by some broken glass in a parking lot. My car has relatively expensive tires. I want to get just one tire, of the same brand, to replace the ruined one. One auto and tire store says I have to buy at least two, so the rear tires match in wear. Isn't it okay to buy just one?
You can just buy one if that's all you can afford. But your ride could be come uneven and throw off the car's balance. Try looking for a used tire of your make that has some wear and tear. It will be cheaper and will be a closer match to your other tire.
There actually is not a Discount Tire in Lancaster. However, there is one on East Palmdale Boulevard, located in the nearby city of Palmdale. They should meet all your tire needs no matter what car or truck you have.
